Collecting Prescriptions

We process around 2000 prescriptions per month and the accuracy and safety of prescribing is of paramount importance.  Our staff are trained to check that what you are ordering is due to be issued and that you are compliant with your treatment before producing your prescription.  Our GPs review all prescriptions before signing them.  Our staff can then collate the signed prescriptions ready for collection either by our patients or their appointed pharmacy; these processes take time.

We would ask that patients take responsibility for ordering their repeat prescriptions in good time and if adhering to the following schedule there is no need to telephone the surgery to ask if your prescription is ready.
